Hello! I’m Carol Ross

EMDR Certified Therapist

Carol is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Supervisor, Level II EMDR trained. She has practiced in the counseling field since 1987 and has specialized in helping people recover from the results of trauma and addictions since 1990. Carol worked as a therapist in an inpatient treatment facility for 18 years and as Program Manager for a
Sexual Addiction Intensive Outpatient Program for 8 years in Tucson, AZ. In addition to her private practice, she is Program Director for the Grace Program at Desert Star Addiction Recovery Center, an Intensive Outpatient Program in Tucson, AZ.

Carol has written articles and presented workshops internationally on sexual abuse, trauma, addiction, sexual addiction and cybersex addiction. She has published articles in the monthly newsletter Steps For Recovery, the magazine Professional Counselor, and the professional journal of Sexual Addiction & Compulsivity. She co-authored an article in The Journal of Chemical Dependency Treatment and a chapter in the textbook Psychological Trauma & Addiction Treatment, originally published by Haworth Press.
